A growing UK-based creative agency is hiring a seasoned and emotionally intelligent Business Development Executive to help grow our client base across high-trust sectors including finance, tech, legal, and energy.
We create premium animation, Framer websites, and digital experiences for regulated industries - and now we’re looking for a commercially experienced sales professional to join our team on a flexible, part-time freelance basis.
This is a great role for someone who has sold creative or media services, knows how to build trust, and wants to work with a calm, ambitious, people-first agency.

The Role
This is a hybrid sales role: you’ll be supported by internal marketing (warm leads provided), but you’ll also be expected to generate your own opportunities through smart outbound outreach.
• 50% inbound marketing-generated leads
• 50% self-sourced pipeline
• You’ll collaborate with our creative and technical teams to scope and close projects in animation and web.
This is a freelance/contractor role, paid monthly, with strong commission upside and clear performance pathways.
What You’ll Do
You’ll lead sales conversations with decision-makers across regulated industries -particularly:
• Finance and Fintech (explainer videos for financial products and platforms)
• Legal and Insurance (compliant internal comms, training, onboarding)
• Energy and Sustainability (technical animations and educational content)
• Technology and Software (UI/UX showcases, demo videos, onboarding)
• Education and Training (e-learning, instructional content, LMS integrations)
These clients face complex, abstract, or regulation-heavy communication challenges. We help them translate complexity into clarity through animated content and tailored websites - built for trust, engagement, and compliance.
You’ll be selling:
• Animated explainer and product videos
• Framer-based websites for high-trust industries
• Interactive digital content for education, onboarding, and marketing
• Regulatory training assets and internal communications
• Technical visualisations and software demos
Your responsibilities include:
• Managing leads and opportunities in Zoho CRM
• Qualifying and converting both inbound and outbound prospects
• Collaborating with our creative team to shape bespoke proposals
• Owning the relationship from intro call to signed agreement
You’ll be positioned as a strategic, consultative partner - not a product pusher.
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally selling:
• Creative agency services
• Animation, design, or video production
• Web development or digital marketing
• Experience closing project-based deals of $5K–$50K+
• Fluent English with a neutral, professional tone
• Comfortable communicating with UK, US, and EU decision-makers
• Confident using Zoho CRM, LinkedIn, and outbound email tools
• Kind, clear communicator with excellent listening skills and emotional intelligence
How to win:
• Build trust with C-level leaders and heads of marketing, compliance, or training
• Create relationships in niche industries where storytelling must be clear, compliant, and credible
• Understand pain points in communication, onboarding, education, or internal messaging
• Close multiple smaller projects each month or land fewer, larger retained clients
